  • Sampson Hall have recently undertaken an extensive management programme with the EOS senior management team. The programme consisted of four half day sessions with work assignments to be undertaken inbetween each session. The package was attended by the Managing Director, the Head of Design, the Chief Estimater, the Head of HR , the Head of Sales, the Operations Manager and the Production Manager. The programme ran over six weeks and delivered an instant return on investment as the management team were more efficient and cohesive after the initial sesssion. The work assignments produced an instant dividend as the managers instigated what they had learned into their departments. The individuals attending the programme developed and honed their skills whilst the team dynamics improved and the overall cohesion and efficiency of the organisation developed.

The programme was a bespoke one designed to meet the needs of the organisation. It was designed in full consultation with the Managing Director and consisted of four discrete packages.

Package 1: Motivational Leadership

Package 2 : Goal Setting and Action Planning

Package 3: Effective Communication and Feedback

Package 4: Delegation and Empowerment

Each candidate worked with their own issues during their work assignments so ensuring that the training delivered an instant effect within the organisation.

The training was extremely well received and has led the organisation to introduce a new HR Management system, create a structured design process, review and improve customer service and the cutomer procurement processes and implement leadership training to all supervisors within the organisation.

Whilst it is early days the programme has had a dramatic impact on the organisation.

The managing Director commented on completion of the package:
